Tuition

The CBB program is a member of The Graduate School at Northwestern University and follows The Graduate School's tuition and fee schedule.

Very well prepared students may complete their degree work in only 3 quarters, while most students who enroll in the program will take 4 or 5 quarters to complete all program requirements. Northwestern University operates on a three term school year/quarter system: fall, winter and spring. Summer registration is available, but not required, and offers a limited course selection.

Financial Aid Information

At the present time, the CBB program is unable to offer financial aid in the form of teaching assistantships or formal research assistantships. Some of our international students apply for grants or loans through government programs in their home countries. U.S. students may apply for grants and loans through Northwestern University's Student Financial Services.

Many of our students also pursue part-time employment either on or off campus to offset their overall costs of attendance. International students may only work part-time on campus as a stipulation of their visa-status.

Scholarships

Each year, a number of applicants are offered a Director's Award. This is a small scholarship that is directly applied to the awardee's tution bill for the first and second terms of enrollment. Students who receive this award must maintain a 3.5 GPA during their first term of enrollment to receive the award for the second term.
